July: Acquired Infrastructure Capital Holdings; adding approximately £3 billion to AUM and positioning Foresight as one of the leading independent renewable generation and infrastructure investors in Australia.

June: Foresight appointed the Eden Project as its sustainability partner. Eden will advise Foresight on enhancing biodiversity across its portfolio with an initial focus on Infrastructure and Forestry assets.

June: Acquired the technology ventures division of Downing LLP including the management of the Venture Capital Trust and Ventures Enterprise Investment Scheme businesses of Downing. This increased Foresight's private equity AUM to £1.2 billion.

May-June: Launched three new funds to support UK and Irish SMEs: the Foresight West Yorkshire SME Investment Fund, the Foresight North East Fund and the AIB Foresight SME Impact Fund.

March: FCM launched the FP Foresight Sustainable Future Themes Fund, providing investors with globally diversified exposure to sustainable development and decarbonisation sectors

November: Shares in Foresight Sustainable Forestry Company Plc begin trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange

September: Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners (“FEIP”) exceeds target by 70% with final close at €851.4 million and a total capital pool in excess of €1.0 billion.

February: Shares in Foresight Group Holdings Limited begin trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

December: Strengthened European presence with new Alternative Investment Fund Manager (“AIFM”) office located in Luxembourg.

September: Completed first investment into full fibre network in East Sussex with the potential to deliver hyperfast broadband to over 100,000 homes and businesses.

August: Completed acquisition of £1.8bn (at completion) PiP Manager Limited (“PiP”).

April: Completed Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners (“FEIP”) investment into 231MW Greenfield wind farm project (Skaftäsen) in Sweden.

January: Launched Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners (“FEIP”), our first European-targeted, sustainability-led energy infrastructure fund, securing commitments of €342 million.

Completed acquisition of the advisory mandate and management team of £764m JLEN Environmental Assets Group ("JLEN"). Launched the £100 million East of England Fund and the £20 million Scottish Growth Fund with offices in Cambridge and Edinburgh.

Foresight and Williams Advanced Engineering launched the Foresight Williams Technology VCT share class, which sits within the Foresight Solar & Technology VCT plc.

Appointed by the British Business Bank as equity fund manager for Midlands Engine Investment Fund, opened UK offices in Leicester and Milton Keynes and international office in Spain (Madrid) to focus on solar investments.
